Kentucky Shakes Off Slow Start and Thumps LIU

In the fist 10 minutes between UK and LIU it appeared UK may have been in for a fight but the Cats kicked in the afterburners and thumped LIU by 29. UK yet again hit the century mark with great performance from Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress. Goodwin scored 22 points, had 9 Assists and grabbed 9 Rebounds. Alex Poythress added 22 , with 9 Rebounds.

UK still had trouble, in the first 10 minutes, giving up 7 offensive rebounds. But the Cats quickly adjusted and out rebounded the Blackbirds 40 to 22. Kentucky also had 11 blocks in a dominate defensive performance. Nerlens Noel has a great game with 18 points 5 Assists, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. 

Kentucky will face Norte Dame next Thursday on ESPN.
